Creamed Eggs on Toast
Creamed Eggs on Toast features hard boiled eggs in a velvety béchamel sauce, served over buttered toast. It is breakfast comfort food at its finest, and my favorite way to use hard-boiled eggs!
Ingredients
3 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons Flour
1 cup Milk
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
4 Hard Boiled Eggs, chopped
2 to 3 slices of Bread, toasted and buttered
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
Using a small sauce pan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add the flour and whisk until smooth; cook about 2 minutes and whisk frequently. Pour in milk; while continuing to whisk frequently, bring to a low boil and cook 5-8 minutes, or until thickened. Add salt and pepper, and stir to combine. Remove from heat. Stir in eggs, and adjust seasoning to taste.
Serve over buttered toast with a sprinkle of paprika. Enjoy with someone you love!

NOTES: Herbs and/or other seasonings can be added. Get creative and make it your own! Simply stir them in with the salt and pepper.
